September 11 (Sunday) – Concert on the Green, The Mannish Boys – 6 to 8 p.m., Village Green - This concert is sponsored by The Wooden Stone, Main Street Books, and Ben and Jerry’s. The concert is free and listeners are invited to bring lawn chairs, a picnic supper, and a spirit of fun. This year’s series sponsor has been the McIntosh Law Firm. September 16 (Friday) – BBQ, Blanket & Bluegrass – 5:00 p.m., Beaver Dam - Bring the family and a blanket and join in the fun at Beaver Dam. Enjoy the best BBQ around these parts while listening to some fabulous bluegrass. Cost is $5.00 per plate. September 18 (Sunday) – Concert on the Green, Davidson College Musical Ensembles – 6 to 8 p.m., Village Green – In the town’s final concert performance of the season, assistant Professor Tara Villa will conduct the Davidson College Symphony Orchestra, while Millner Professor Bill Lawing leads the Jazz Ensemble.

There is no charge to attend the concert and listeners are invited to bring lawn chairs, a picnic supper, and lots of friends. This year’s series sponsor has been the McIntosh Law Firm.
