April 25 – May 7 – 2008 Juried Student Art Exhibition – Van Every/Smith Galleries, Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center – This annual exhibition by both art majors and non-art majors highlights works produced during the academic year. Artworks are selected by members of the studio faculty and awards of excellence are presented by a guest juror. Cash awards are made possible in part by Christa Faut Gallery in Cornelius, and purchase awards are made possible by Ingersoll Rand in Davidson.
The Every/Smith Galleries are open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from noon to 4 p.m. Programs are free and the public is welcome. For information, call 704.894.2519.
