Meet Davidson Police Detective Steve Ingram
Det. Ingram was the Davidson PD-Lake Norman Chamber Officer of the Year in 2010 for his efforts in solving the kidnapping-murder of Davidson resident Wyatt Rivens in 2005. Det. Ingram was sworn in with the Davidson Police Department on April 1, 1997 and has been the department’s detective since 2002. He worked as a law enforcement officer with Johnson C. Smith University before coming to Davidson. Steve is married to Shineka, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools teacher, and has a six-year old daughter Kayla. He resides in Charlotte.
