April 24 – May 6 – 2009 Juried Student Art Exhibition – Van Every/Smith Galleries, Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center – This annual exhibition by both art majors and non-art majors highlights works produced during the academic year. Artworks are selected by members of the studio faculty and awards of excellence are presented by a guest juror.
The Every/Smith Galleries are open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from noon to 4 p.m. Programs are free and the public is welcome. For information, call 704.894.2519.

Davidson guard Stephen Curry announced in a press conference in April that he will forego his senior season and enter the NBA draft. Curry led the nation in scoring for the 2008-2009 season with 28.6 points per game. Our neighborhood wishes him the very best in his future career.
