The Last Page

Let’s play the memory game: I remember when gas was 18 cents per gallon; I remember when a pack of cigarettes cost 18 cents; I remember when the median price of a new home was $14,000; I remember when you could get a dinner out for two at the local fast food joint for 99 cents; I remember when the choice was either radio or black & white TV; I remember saying, “I will never pay more than $5,000 for a car.” . . . And this is just what I remember. There is a lot I have forgotten!

My point is this - Taxes and death are not the only sure things anymore. People beat taxes all the time and Ted Williams was freeze dried for a comeback in the 22nd century! The only constant today is change!

Those who survive are those who cope!
