Davidson College Events

May 1 – May 9 2007 Annual Student Juried Exhibition - Van Every/Smith Galleries of the Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center – This annual exhibition of works by both art majors and non-art majors highlights works produced during the academic year. The Van Every/Smith Galleries are open weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. All programs are free and the public is welcome. For more information, call 704.894.2519.

May 19 (Saturday)

ROTC Commissioning, Tyler-Tallman Hall, Sloan Music Building (1:30 p.m.)

Baccalaureate Service, Davidson College Presbyterian Church (4:45 p.m.) – No seat reservations can be made. Additional seating is available outside the church and in Duke Family Performance Hall.

Historic Campus Promenade, Historic Quadrangle (Dusk)

Concert by Davidson College Concert Choir, Davidson College Presbyterian Church (7:30 p.m.)

May 20 (Sunday)

Academic Procession (9:50 a.m.)

Commencement, Front Campus (10:00 a.m.) – No reserved seating.

DAVIDSON COLLEGE SPORTS CALENDAR

Men’s Varsity baseball still has home games left in May. Men’s and Women’s track & field events are also scheduled during the month, but other sports activities will take a break until Fall, 2007.
