Davidson College Events

May 14 – 15 (Saturday – Sunday) – Commencement Exercises – The Davidson College community celebrates the Class of 2005 during commencement weekend festivities.
On Saturday at 4:45 p.m., the Rev. Alexander W. Evans, member of the class of 1980 and pastor of Blacksburg Presbyterian Church in Blacksburg, Virginia, will lead a Baccalaureate service in the Davidson College Presbyterian Church. A candlelight promenade on the historic quadrangle will follow the service at dusk. At 7:30 p.m., the Davidson College Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will perform in the Davidson College Presbyterian Church.
On Sunday, the faculty in full academic regalia and the Class of 2005 will process from Chambers Building at 9:50 a.m. Commencement exercises will begin at 10:00 a.m. under the oaks on the college’s front campus.
