Every Morning (7:00 a.m.) – The Board Walkers meet at the corner of Twain Avenue and the intersection of Mary Jane McConnell and Miriam G. Tuttle Byways to begin their 50 to 60 minute walk around the area. If you would like more information, please call Bonne McCoy at 704-987-1877.

Neighborhood Dinner Group

This month’s dinner will be held on Tuesday, March 16, at one of Davidson’s most popular restaurants, Restaurant X (408 South Main Street, Davidson). Plan to enjoy wonderful cuisine in an unusual setting. The evening will start at 6:00 p.m. with a social hour, followed at 7:00 p.m. by dinner. A menu will be sent to the e-mail list each month in advance of the event. Please let Arvind know by Sunday, March 14, if you plan to attend.

March 10 (Wednesday) – Women’s Bridge Club will meet at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Meg Wagoner, 218 O. Henry Avenue. If you plan to play, please call Meg at 704.987.8795. March 15 (Monday) – The Women’s Group Breakfast will meet at The Egg at Davidson Cafe (Sadler Square Shopping Center on Griffith Street, next to Healthy Home Market) at 10:00 a.m. If you want more information or need directions, please call Phyllis Twitty at 704.896.6328.

March 17 (Wednesday) – The New Da Daytimers Book Club will meet at the home of Chris Davis (235 Twain Avenue) at 10:00 a.m. February’s book selection is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Men

March 17 (Thursday) - Men’s Group Breakfast will meet at the Cookhouse Restaurant (Shoppes on the Green complex, exit 28 in Cornelius) at 7:30 a.m. The men have decided to continue their breakfast each month at the Cookhouse Restaurant location.
