Every Wednesday (8:00 – 11:00 a.m.) – 50 Plus Coffee – Davidson Parks & Recreation Department (416 Armour Street) – If you have not been to the new Parks & Recreation facility, you must give this a try! You can play pool, ping-pong, board games, and read a choice of three different newspapers (if you’re bored) while you enjoy the coffee, bagels, donuts and fruit that are provided. Several residents in New Neighborhood often attend and you will be sure to meet new friends as well. This is meant to be a fun and relaxing time for all! March 16 (Sunday) – Eggstravaganza – North Mecklenburg Park (2:00–4:00 p.m.) – Children 10 years of age and under – Join Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville Recreation Departments at this annual event. Bring your own basket and have fun searching for eggs, getting your face painted, visiting Peter Cottontail and enjoying family-oriented entertainment.
