June 8 – August 7 (except week of July 4th) – Day Camp at the Lake – Weekly day camp sessions are available for boys and girls grades 5-9. All activities take place at the college’s beautiful Lake Campus. Sessions are open and subject to availability. There is a $50 registration fee and cost per child is $300 per session (discount for families). July 23 – August 2 – Barefoot in the Park – Davidson Community Players present Neil Simon at his best in this heart-warming comedy about sacrifices, new beginnings, and not letting obstacles get in the way of what truly matters.
Performances are in the Duke Family Performance Hall at 8:00 p.m. on July 23 – August 1. There is a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Sunday, August 2. Tickets are $22 for general admission ($20 for students and seniors). Please call 704.892.7918 for reservations or CarolinaTix.
August 19 – 23 – Davidson College students return for the 2009-2010 academic year. Wednesday, August 19, is an optional check-in day for new students, with a full orientation from Thursday, August 20, through Sunday, August 23. The first day of classes for everyone is on Monday, August 24.
