January 16 – February 26 – “Re/Formations:
Disability, Women, and Sculpture” – Van Every/Smith
Galleries, Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center – Artists:
Harriet Sanderson, Rebecca Horn, Judith Scott, Nancy Fried, and
Laura Splan. There will be an Opening Reception with the artists
on Thursday, January 15 at 7:00 p.m. The reception is free and
open to the public.
The Every/Smith Galleries are open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5
p.m. and weekends from noon to 4 p.m. Programs are free and the public

January 23 (Friday) – “Gabriel Alegria Afro-Peruvian Sextet” – This performance will be held at the Duke Family Performance Hall, Knobloch Campus Center, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
February 24 (Tuesday) – “Cavatino Duo” - The performance is held in Tyler-Tallman Hall, Sloan Music Center, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

January 28 (Wednesday) – “Aquila Theatre Company in Homer’s The Illiad” – Aquila’s innovative production tells the main parts of the story in an action packed ninety minute evening using Stanley Lombardo’s excellent translation and combining ritualistic movement, original music, and superb acting. “A performance of staggering power!” – The New York Times.
February 17 (Tuesday) – “Mike Super: Magic and Illusion” – Talented and versatile, Mike Super has been creating the impossible since the young age of six. The show is guaranteed to be full of surprises and audience participation. Spend an entertaining evening enjoying the fun, mystery, and magic of Mike Super! “Entertainer of the Year!” – CA Magazine.
