March 12 – April 14 Lydia Musco: New Sculpture – Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center (Van Every Gallery) – Sculptor Lydia Musco is Davidson College’s 2008-2010 Visiting Assistant Professor of Art. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and in China. She is the recipient of numerous awards and grants. This exhibition will feature new concrete and paper sculptures as well as a series of new etchings.

April 1 - April 302010 Senior Studio Art Majors Exhibitions – Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center (Smith Gallery) – Every spring, senior Studio Arts Majors hold solo-exhibitions for one week each. Many of these pieces are for sale to the public. Enjoy great art from perhaps one of the next great world-renown artists!

The Van Every/Smith Galleries are open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from noon to 4 p.m. Programs are free and the public is welcome. For information, call 704.894.2519.

Davidson College Sports Calendar

With the basketball season over, there is plenty of action in other fields. Men’s baseball is in “full swing.” Women’s lacrosse is an interesting spring sport. Track & Field and Tennis are underway for both men and women. Visit the website for home dates and times for these events. Admission is free for all spring sports.
