The Last Page

If you missed the first page header of this newsletter and also missed the brief announcement on page 3, I want to again “shout” to all residents and owners that St. Alban’s Square Neighborhood Association has been named Association of the Year by the North Carolina Chapter of the Community Association Institute. We were nominated several weeks ago by Vera Victorino of Abbott Enterprises. In support of this nomination, I submitted numerous photographs and several pages of history and accomplishments along with comments from many of you. This work has paid off!

This is truly a neighborhood award. We are winners because of great neighbors. We are winners because we care about the quality of our community. We are winners because we have good leaders and volunteers.

We owe thanks to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church for past and continuing support. We should also extend thanks to Doug Boone, our Founder, for a vision that has become a reality. And we certainly owe a lot of thanks to Vera Victorino and the staff at Abbott for their management work and help every day.

Congratulations and thanks to all neighbors in the Association.
You are all winners!
