Neighborhood Social Events

All Neighbors Welcome

Every Morning (7:00 a.m.) – The Board Walkers meet at the corner of Twain Avenue and the intersection of Mary Jane McConnell and Miriam G. Tuttle Byways to begin their 50 to 60 minute walk around the area. If you would like more information, please call Bonne McCoy at 704-987-1877.

March 18 (Sunday, 3:00 p.m.) – Peter Sykes, Organ, 2006-2007 Concert Series Peter Sykes, one of the most distinguished and versatile keyboard artists performing today, will play St. Alban’s historic 1865 George Stevens pipe organ in a program of music by Bach, Mendelssohn, Franck, and Brahms. A tour of the organ and demonstration for audience members of all ages will follow the concert. Tickets are available at the door or from the church office (704.941.0650) – General Admission: $15; Students and Seniors: $10; Children under 10 years: FREE. March 21 (Wednesday)The New Da Daytimers Book Club will meet at the home of Sarah Isaacs (126 South Faulkner Way) at 10:00 a.m. This month’s book selection is The Kitchen Boy by Robert Alexander.
