The Last Page

The holiday season means many things to many people. However, with the ever slumping economy this year, the reality of the season is that many people will be cutting back on lifetime traditions and holiday giving. There is a way we can all help make this a bright season for our less fortunate neighbors.

The Davidson Police Department and the Davidson Fire Department are partnering again this Christmas season to host the Angel Tree. For information, please contact Sgt. Scott Misenheimer (Davidson Police Department) at smisenheimer@ci.davidson.us or call 704.892.5131 (ext. 264). You may also contact Captain Wilson Sadler (Davidson Fire Department) at 704.940.9645.

The annual Holiday Angel Tree was unveiled on Friday, November 21, at the rotunda at Davidson Town Hall (216 South Main Street). If you’d like to give, visit the tree and pick up a gift-giving ornament which comes with a gift request for a child or family. Pick up an ornament before December 6. Gifts are due back at the Davidson Police Department by December 10.

Happy Holidays to All!
