Costume competition and awards are at 8:30 p.m. before the movie. Pirate booty is available at Your Dollar Store. August 20 (Sunday) – Concert on the Green – Village Green (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.) – Music will be presented by the Gethsemane Baptist Church, River’s Edge, and Lake Forest Church. This concert is sponsored by Aglow International. August 27 (Sunday) – Concert on the Green (“The Iron Grass Trio”) – Village Green (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.) – This group includes Michael Orlando, Mason Bissett and Frank Bloom with plenty of banjo, mandolin, sax, and guitars. This concert is sponsored by Rusty Knox and The Village Store. The concerts are free and open to the public. Families and friends are welcome to bring picnics and relax to the music.
