The Last Page

You should have already noticed this month that there is a new section to the newsletter entitled “Neighbor Profiles and Stories.” The heading is new, but the inclusion of profiles and interesting stories from the neighborhood is not. This is an aspect of the newsletter that the Newsletter Committee wants to expand and become a regular feature. You have heard more than once that “Good neighbors make good neighborhoods!” What make good neighborhoods even greater are the unusual stories, talents, interests, successes, and diversity of good neighbors. To that end, we want to continue to share these “greater-than-life” stories and experiences. Some articles will make you laugh; some will make you cry; but hopefully, all will add to the understanding of our neighbors and what makes us close.

However, the Newsletter Committee needs your help to make this successful. If you know of an interesting story or special achievement by one of your neighbors, please contact one of the committee members. Don’t be shy! If you like your own story, write it and send it to us. Please do not be afraid to mention “hot tips” since it is not our expectation that you write the story. If you are uncomfortable with interviewing someone or writing articles, our committee will handle this for you. Everyone has a story! Let’s capture them!
